Description
Compared to the NTAG 213, the NTAG 213TT offers expanded functionality, providing additional benefits for smart packaging and brand protection. The NTAG 213TT features a new tag tampering function designed to detect the status of the tag’s tamper-detection wire during the initialization process. If an open circuit is detected in the wire, the NTAG 213TT will permanently store this event. The status information of the tag tamper wire can be mirrored in ASCII format to the user memory containing NDEF data, or it can be read via a dedicated command. Furthermore, the NTAG 213TT provides an improved authenticity signature that can be programmed and locked during tag initialization. The NTAG 213TT is fully compliant with the NFC Forum Type 2 Tag (Ref. 2) and ISO/IEC 14443 Type A (Ref. 1) specifications.
